Remington Hepburn Caliber?

Could use some help. The rifle is marked 38 2 1/4 is that 38-50 or 38-55? What's the rest of the caliber designation, Remington Hepburn or Winchester or are they the same. Thanks in advance.

It's the 38/50 Remington. It uses a .455-7 case head (30/40, 303 Brit).
