I have a couple of self-imposed caveats. After reflecting on the dangers of lead poisoning I no longer use a kitchen stove or a camp stove that will ever be used for cooking food. I have the Buffalo arms propane unit and their 40 lb pot. It works great but I only use it outside. Even so I find that there are occasional ''splatters" that end up on the burner where the flame temperature is well above the vaporization point for lead. That's why I stay outside when I'm casting.
