While I have several original Stevens 44 1/2's in various configurations, I do not as yet have a CPA. While I am more of a casual target shooter and collector and have never shot competitively, I really should break down and get a CPA. I don't know if I am the only one that feels this way, but it is my opinion that some day way down the road when CPA is gone, their guns will be as valued and collectable as the originals.

There's a really nice 2 barrel set (.40-65 & .22 LR.) on gunbroker right now.  According to the seller, CPA told him it was originally owned by Steven Baldwin.

Nice provenance for collectors.

Disclaimer: I have no connection to the owner of this set, Mr. Baldwin, nor CPA.
