A.M.T. 1874 Sharps ?

Hi
I can't find any info on this 45-120 Sharps rifle anywhere and thought someone here may help me. I have had this rifle for 25 plus years and everywhere I have asked about it I'm told A.M.T. has never made or imported a 1874 rifle. When I purchased it (long story) I was told the first 4 rifles made were Serial Numbers  #1 - 45-70 #2 45-90 #3 45-110 and this rifle #4 45-120. In the past 25 years of searching I can find no other rifles except the one I own. Has anyone here ever seen any?
Thanks!

I had an AMT Sharps just like that at one time. All of them(i have seen a few others) were 45-70. I would bet it was re-chambered to 45-110. I sold mine because even with a 45-70 that butt plate was uncomfortable.

Thanks everyone and I also had a email sent to me stating these rifles were also made to 7/8 scale. Now I will have to weigh & mic this rifle.

Paul, I purchased an AMT Sharps rifle in 45/70 several years ago. It has a 30 inch 1 1/8 barrel and weighs in at an even 13 lbs. It is stocked in English Walnut and has  a shot gun butt with an English style check piece. It is a pussycat to shoot off of a rest. Very nice looking and smooth operating rifle...,.Ed

I know it's an old thread but was hoping to hear more from people who have one of these AMT Sharps. How did you get it, what caliber, was it a kit or sold as finished Firearm. It's another odd duck that I would like to chase down more info and maybe an example if the price is right.
Thanks for any info to come.

Don't know a lot about them but I can remember old Harry Sanford test one out at the old San Gabrial valley gun club. I remember one that looked like stainless or it could have been in the white don't know.

Was hoping some other would speak up to get more info. on the rifle stuck way back in the corner they forgot they had. I would really love to know what's out there and maybe get lucky on getting one. I know there were a few calibers and were marked in a few different ways. Would be nice to see some more examples, please! Cheesy
