Beautiful colors!

So far I've not found anything with comparable colors here in Eastern Idaho. Have found traces, (small pieces) of bright red agate. One of these days may find the source.

Here is a 25LB chunk of plume with a nice green color. My saw is not quite big enough to cut it. Pictures are front and back. To find that much color is perty exciting.

Great hobby!
They don't have rocks in Florida. (at least I haven't seen any)
In Connecticut, you can't put a shovel 6" into the ground without hitting one.
Just a lot of shell and sand here, amazing that grass can grow.
Aaron
(I realize these beautiful minerals and crystals are more than rocks)

Beautiful specimens, Joe.

If you could inlet an attractive slab into a rifle's buttstock, it'd be sure to give you a rock-steady hold!

Joe, Is that fossilized fauna or flora?

Tube agate is really strange and really neat. Here's one I found earlier this summer.  Weight, two pounds. Makes a neat paper weight.
