I am stunned by the number of Democrats that donít know the difference between the powers of an absolute monarch and an elected President of the United States.

I'm not happy with much of what Trump does but this is one place where he is absolutely spot on.† Punt the issue to Congress where it belongs (and maybe drop kick a few of them into action at the same time).

If we're going to have an effective immigration policy it needs to be settled in law, not just drug from one side of the political field to the other like some kind of dead goat in a Afghan Buzkashi match.

I really think I'm lucky not to have prez.hill making any meaningful decisions. The excerpts from her upcoming book marginally amaze me that a good chunk of the country sees her as presidential material. She would blame a barn door for her faults and easily get away with it as long as it's painted white, and there'd be mountains of new social engineering rubber stamped by pc.

Think the primary reason most of the recent prez's have done so much by "decree" is our worthless congress (doesn't matter which party is dominate) can't get off their collective ass and do their job. Best things Trump has done since being sworn in is force the congress to actually do their job on the budget/disaster relief and toss DACA back to them. 'Bout time.

It's all a Communist Nazi plot!  What kind of a gizmo does Trump have to gin up those low barometric pressures?  Hot air?

Here in Michigan we hid a lot of our Potawatamies out so they didn't get rounded up for the trail of tears. We appreciated their help to the early settlers.
Lee
PS  in return for our help they gave us casinos so we can give them money to buy back all the land we took from them.
