Bases for an 1885 Winchester/Miroku .22 rimfire

Good Evening Gentlemen: I'm brand spanking new to shooting .22 BPCR and want to mount a 5x MVA Winchester "B" series scope on an 1885 Winchester/Miroku.  What bases (height, etc.) do you suggest and where can I purchase them?  Hopefully this is a good set-up to begin shooting this game.  Thanks for your help, Tom

If you are buying the scope from MVA you can just get them to send you the bases.

Talk to MVA. Let them know the rifle and barrel configuration and they'll provide the proper height bases to work with their scope. Same excellent quality as the scope and mounts.

Color me "very embarrassed."  Contacted MVA and the nice lady who answered the phone informed me that the bases will accompany the scope.  I told you I was new.  Tom

Ballards may be weaker,
but they sure are neater!

Not surprised considering MVA's reputation for customer service! Doubt that would happen with most scope providers.
