Are your classes for locals only or could some poor out of towners possibly drop in and learn a few tricks?

I'll welcome any and all - doesn't have to be at the College, just have to work around my schedule and pesky clients with their demands.  I generally learn something every time I meet people from this forum.

Rodney,
That's how we threaded one, a couple saw how I was threading my action in the lathe and now they want me to help them do theirs, not sure I have enough hours in day...
Did you make anything special for cutting the lower tang slots? I did it in the mill vise with a woodruff cutter.

Yes that what I used also. If I do high walls in another class it may be  worthwhile to make a special cutter for the tang and reciever cuts. We will see

Rodney, Greg,   Great work and pictures from both of you.
Both of you are teaching classes which helps all of us.
Greg, admire the file work on the ribs and teaching it.
Keep it up, we are all learning from this.

I brought the 20 ton air over hydraulic press to school to do the broaching less chance of straining a back. This was last nite’s class.
