The Ruger shank is 0.875 long, 1.00 x 16 tpi diameter, according to deHaas.

The FBW J shank is 0.990 long, 1.0 x 14 tpi, according to their catalog.

They both ought to handle the same cartridges, although the FBW catalog says that rimless cartridge extractor mods are  not done at the factory, and recommends a deHaas article on the modification.

The Ruger No.1 thread size is 1" - 16tpi. The FBW Model J thread size is 1" - 14tpi. According to the Falling Block Works literature the "J" is suitable for all rimmed cartridges from 22 Hornet thru 45-70. Their literature further states "each Model J is proofed at 100,000 psi  (strain gauge) or 67,000 psi copper crusher value. While the Ruger No 1 is designed for both rimmed and rimless cartridges, I suppose the a rimless extractor similar to the No 1 could be fabricated for the FBW J.
