Interesting old machine. A friend has a Magma Caster it holds a 100lbs. of alloy and spits out about a 1000 bullets an hour and the quality is actually surprisingly quite good. He uses it to cast bullets for both his Schuetzen and BPCRifles and its a bit interesting to watch the machine at work.

Well, this isn't a caster, but a swaging tool. I've seen similar for other items than bullets. Here, I think the bent, skinny thing on the upper end is a stick of lead that gets fed in, when turned it cuts off and in the next step is swaged. Then there must be a stage for it to be ejected.
Might have missed a stage, but that's the jist of it. Cool item.

Being a swaging machine would make more sense if someone knows how to look up the patent number it should provide a description of how it actually works of which would be very interesting to know.

That is way cool! I'd find a space in my crowded gun room if I owned it!

Thanks Craigster very interesting reading on how it actually works and exactly what I was hoping for someone to find and thanks again it adds alot more value to what is being sold and it gives the new owner something to share with his friends.

No, I'm not yet two days older than dirt, but my son and daughter tell me I'm well on the way.
