Your Tuckahoe looks a lot like my later B&M measure.
I was surprised to look at the instruction sheet with mine and see a chart for numerous powders that shows how each powder relates to the micrometer drop tube markings in the measure.

I bought a B&M a few years ago and somebody here steered me in the most accurate use of it by using the charge lever twice for each measured load.  That seems to settle the powder uniformly in the tube for a very consistent measure.  Now I might have to pull the spring out and find a lighter one at the hardware store. I went to a glass store and they cut me a new piece for a few dollars.  The things you can learn here are endless!  Tom

Went to the hardware store today and bought a 75c spring. I also waxed the sliding portion and reassembled and now the measure works as slick as cat Shiiiiiiiiiiii..
Thanks for the tips.

There's a couple of B&M powder measures with brass tubes on eBay now. Also throwing levers and window glass.
