Got a kick out of your comment about scope repair places having a backlog.  I sent a scope like yours, for a cross hair replacement, to guy in 2012, 5 years later I called him and ask when he was going to get to my scope.  He said he would have it back to me in two weeks.  Just got it back at the end of December.

I can sympathize with you.  I sent a Lyman All American 6 power out to Trace Scope Repair in Cochrane, Alberta for servicing last year and just got it back recently.  It took 10 months.  Not too many people doing this kind of work so I guess we can expect a fairly big backlog ...

  

I may have passed my "Best Before" date, but I haven't quite reached my "Expiry" date yet ...
