10-30 screw size????

I need a screw for an original Sharps Borchardt tang sight.  The one that holds the staff between the ears.  From what I can tell, it's somewhere between a 10-32 and a 10-28.  Has anybody heard of such an animal?  I looked at Frank's chart and it looks like at one time, it existed. Thanks

30 pitch used to be quite popular, with many being a decimal diameter size, or fractional diameter size, before the #'d screw sizes were adopted.
I think Lyman still uses 30 TPI on their 310 Tool parts, and my lathe has 30 TPI as a standard selection without having to swap any headstock drive gears around.

10-30 dies are available from Victor Machinery Exchange, Inc.; see their website.
