cpa chambered 32-40 case length

a question for you guys shooting 32-40 chambered by cpa:  what case length is optimal?   currently after 2 firings my cases are at 2.110 which comes in a little short of Lyman published trim to length.   I am breech seating all loading.  just curious as I experiment and develop loads, thanks

thanks, someone gave me a quite different length than published (Lyman = 2.120) and I was double checking. I think they misunderstood my question.  2.120 it is.   thank you again 40 rod

didn't see J louis response until I responded .   2.130 is still very different than what I was told.  Regardless, Lyman published specs are within the needed parameters.  I will be shooting and monitoring the growth of my case sprouts this spring.   I might just go ahead and chamber cast too.  Again, mostly checking against a number previously given to me that was incorrect by a long shot  thanks Jlouis

Donít worry about the length of the case, a 32/40 case will shorten after a couple of firings, it may go from 2.130 to 2.115, we have been told that cases get longer after firing, that is not true with the breechseated 32/40 case.  Ledball

Amen Ledball and length is really not all that critical if being close for what we do.
