Who made this Long-Range Sharps Vernier Sight ?

Can anyone tell me who made this Sharps Long-Range Tang Sight?  I didn't take a photo of the base but it has the long base for a Sharps 1874 sporting model.  The vernier staff has the transition for windage.  One neat feature that this sight has is a locking screw on the back side of the staff to lock the elevation.

The staff is marked "BMP" or "dwB" depending on whether you hold it right side up or upside down.

Any help is appreciated ...
Joe

I cannot help with a maker, but I think it's a nice sight. Good idea, that screw to lock the slide, I might do that to one of mine. Not that I have a bunch. Cry If I get around to it, I'm going to use a brass screw, so that If I overtighten it, the screw will be the first to fail, and the sight will only need a new screw replacement.  Roll Eyes
