Have any of you read John Taffin's book on the 45? I'm tempted to buy it, but am afraid it is just 50 years of magazine articles put into book form.

I have no interest simply based on it covering all guns, and all cartridges of .45 caliber. I'm sure there's very little in it that pertains to .45 caliber rifles I enjoy.
Just never find these "cover everything" books to be good at covering anything.

The old saying"never judge a book by it's cover"applies here.

45? Just 45?  Nothing in particular? Just 45?

Yep! rifles, revolvers, pistols, but all 45 cal of one persuasion or another, and only ones that he has had experience with. This according to the author.

I was gonna write a book about all the 38s that I had experience with. But she said she'd sue me if i did.
