All of the original Winchester barrels should be sixteen twist. Mine has always shot bullets up to about 200 grains pretty well- stability wise. Sometimes the accuracy was iffy.
I shot that same Lee bullet with good results as well. With and without the checks. I disliked the mold though.
And, I have about 8,000 gas checks if anybody really, really needs some.

I shoot the Lee 8mm bullet with and without the gc. Accuracy seems about the same either way.

Mike Graf sold the business this month.  New owner is a young couple and renamed it Full Circle.  Good people to carry on the business.  The "junk pile" isn't advertised on the website.

I could be off on my measurement of the twist.  By actual measurement I got  one turn in 16 3/4 inches, but it could be a 16 as it is pretty hard to eyeball the mark on the rod exactly, and there is always the possibility of the patch clipping slightly.

If I find that it shoots I will invest in a mould from Accurate Moulds.   I have several of their moulds and they are good.  I haven't had much success with Lee products.  You get what  you pay for.  I will say that I've never tried any of their moulds though.

I have a Barnett mold that throws a 200gr .326 bullet. If you might to try a few, PM with your address. Mr. Barnett made it for a rebored Stevens 3240.

Another option might be to buy some swagged bullets from Dave Bennett of the sizes you want to try.
